Of course, that would be the best way to gain trust. After all, news
spread fast on the web and nothing beats word of mouth marketing, so to
say.
The problem would only be that people using the service for it's
bulletproof privacy are unlikely to admitthat they are using it.

By the same token, ther operator can't advertise satisfied clients without
their permission and if we, as the host started to publish the stats of
long lists of connections that have been made to the site we'd be breaking
our own rule of never getting involved, never judging or endorsing a
customer.
So, despite the much appreciated 'plug' for our services, we can't return
the favour - which at times is a real bummer.

Although I have to agree that the initial thought of most people is likely
to be similar to Danny's, there are obvious benefits in using a service
that can't be contacted in any traditional way.
Especially if you consider that more and more banks are taking to sitting
on large cross-border transactions 'for verification purposes'. Some of
our CF$ clients who had received large cheques have been waiting for six
weeks for our bank to clear funds for withdrawal. Once the trust factor of
an Escrow is taken care of, the fewer ways there are to contact the
operators, the better it might be for all involved.

I reckon, in the end it's all about staying power and repeat business. We
still get most of our customers by repeat business and by them
recommending us to others. For an Escrow service this may be much more so.

Cheers,
Robert.
