I disagree. Many people who use e-gold (including investors
in such things as DBourse and other projects) eschew HYIP
scams. Just because you see more spam from scams than
from things like legitimate casinos (not just TGC) you can't
assume the spammers actually do much business because
IMO they don't.

Exactly why are they "more serious"? I'm sure that there are
serious individuals who can and perhaps will contact this
person and may wish to invest in his project. e-gold is easy
to use and widely used, and he'd be wise to show his stuff
to the widest possible variety of investors (as he has).
