You can send lengthy attachments directly to me, but then resend the
body of the message without the attachment to the list. Also, you can
open an issue at SourceForge where we can attach data for the issue.

I'd like to see the full dmesg output, and also the output from lspci -vvv.

I thought CentOS and RedHat are equivalent, but its strange that
Fedora works with same hardware. Can you try, for a test, downloading
our out of tree driver on the Source Forge site and see if it has the
problem on CentOS as well?

Thanks,

Carolyn

Any news on this issue? Any known workaround?

I can report the exact same problem but with a QuadPort ET
(82756-based) card on a Dell Server T410 G11.
Also, CentOS did not work neither does Proxmox (debian-based) with
kernel 2.6.32-12-pve (latest stable). IGB driver is the latest, I also
tried recompiling it myself from source and result is the same.

Very same issue, link led is on during post, grub loads and led is
still on but as soon as the kernel starts loading link led goes off and I
just can't get the board to work. Even with ports connected I can not get
the leds to light up and system reports link down. Port on the switch does
not light up either.
Tested cables, etc etc. Also tried adding pcie_aspm=off to kernel boot
params.

I am attaching here the results of lspci -vvv and dmesg. Please any
work around will be extremelly helpful. If you need more debug info just
let me know what you need and how I can get them to you.

Sorry I was not subscribed to the list before and do not know how to
reply to an old post. I am replying to this thread here:
