Hi,

We have an issue with our new 4 port I350-F4s, Intel support sent us
here first.

Running 3.0.23-1-586-vyatta kernel, with 2 Intel cards; the igb driver
is loaded, but it appears only 2 MAC addresses are used for each card:

Followed by this:

[ 10.119496] udev[1049]: renamed network interface eth9 to eth9-eth8

[ 13.956638] udev[1039]: renamed network interface eth2 to eth3
[ 14.975881] udev[1030]: renamed network interface eth0 to eth0-eth1

[ 16.994380] udev[1053]: renamed network interface eth7 to eth6

In the end, ip/ifconfig shows duplicate MAC addresses for the interfaces.

Any insights as to how to (permanently) fix this problem? Or at least
track it down?
Never seen this with an Intel device before.

Thanks!
