For starters I would recommend testing with the updated bonding driver on 
a current kernel. If you still see an issue we can try to root cause further.

The bonding issue Zhu is referring to was a combination between a link flap,
link reporting in ixgbe and a race in the bonding driver. The effect of the
link reporting in ixgbe was a bond interface with "Unknown" link (as seen
in /proc/net/bonding/bond0) which is not the case in your setup judging by 
the logs you provided.
