Hi,
Here the latest snapshot version from CVS :
http://baud123.free.fr/eagle-usb/eagle-usb-2.0.0/eagle-usb-2.0.0_20041028.tar.bz2
- with ./autogen.sh already run
- with latest BNM files from ADI
- with CMV*txt files installed to /etc/eagle-usb/ (I hope... uninstall not yet
implemented)
- with latest corrections from Sl33p3r for Oops (please test with kernels that
gave you problems, rather than upgrading to 2.6.9 ;-) )
see http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DevEagleUsbIII to use CMV files
(./configure --enable-cmvs then configuration of eagle-usb.conf) + all
questions (some have been answered)

Latest BNM are not yet included in CVS... as I'm still waiting for
confirmation that those latest BNM can work in all countries with a *default*
CMVep.txt file : I currently see it as a regression if configuration is too
complicated for the user
- it worked without CMV so far with many modems, with latest 2.0.31 BNM being
required for Fast 800 E2T
- for OPTNxx values, I'm not sure for Fast 800 E2T though : maybe
eagle-usb.conf has to be adapted ? I would like to have a single
eagle-usb.conf with default values that "just work"
- OPTN1 seems to cause problems of download rate divided by 10
- Fast 800 E3 can be used by replacing dsp_code*bin + configuring CMV
=> eagle-usb-2.0.1 will include full CMV management once we have implemented
it in eagleconfig (and, possibly, eaglectrl) and found a way to have
user-friendly configuration for CMV (or a solid documentation to explain it
step by step)

I have no access to my webmail at tuxfamily.org (only IMAP works currently) so
you may copy me *temporarily* in your answers.

good tests !
