If you cant type code into the (dare I say it) editor, what difference does it make what the rest of the app does? Fine. It's not an *editor*. But it contains a little window of sorts where lots of code is supposed to be written. The mere act of typing in that little window is sluggish. Given that I spend 90% of my day in that little window and 90% of my work involves typing code and not refactoring or otherwise using other nifty features of this IDE, I have to say it is a big deal. I will hold firm to the position that hitting the backspace key should not cause a 3 second delay. Certainly not on a 6k file.
