I am cursed with a small laptop screen (which I of course can't upgrade without getting a new laptop) whose resolution is 800x600.
The IDE Options dialog box opens up at 800x600, which is too big since I'm using Windows and its task bar takes up 30 or 40 pixels at the bottom of the screen. If I resize the dialog box (which I can do on Windows, but some operating systems only let you resize by dragging the bottom right corner of a window) and hit "OK", the next time the window pops up it is smaller but its origin is not (0,0) as it was when I hit "OK", but rather (0,<height of screen> - <height of dialog box>). Is there some way IDEA could deterime the viewable size of the screen and default the window to that, rather than to the total number of pixels on the screen? Or default the window size to be 50 pixels away from each actual edge of the screen just to be safe?
