Dunno about Macs (dont use dont care 8)) but - 1.4 has support for mousewheel under Linux 8) It also sppse to be faster (i just measured with kernel 2.4.18. It beats my beloved IBM's jdk. Shame shame...). Plus there is hope of 1.4 supporting IDEA to actually resolve nasty focus issues. Also why we arguing - according to what been told on J1 - there sspse to be 2.6 sometime soon that will run nicely on 1.4.
