I have become aware of Ebox since Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 3 released, and it
looks very interesting. I've installed onto a VMWare Player image whilst
I assess its usefulness.
I'm about to build a network of about 20 machines for my local youth
group, and I had planned to use NIS and NFS to provide central logins
and home directories.
Seeing Ebox, I assumed that this would make my life easier, but it
appears not to support NIS and NFS, only LDAP.
My question therefore is: does Ebox have any (built in or third party)
support for serving NIS authentication and NFS shares? Or should I stick
to the command line for my needs?
