That's not accurate. eBox will be an  option to manage an ubuntu server in an 
easy way, but not the only one.

We are already working on having all the packages in ubuntu. It's likely that 
the first releases won't be "ubuntu" official packages but "eBox platform" 
official packages for ubuntu.

We -as eBox platform- will release eBox 1.0  for ubuntu.

Right now, I recommend to use the Debian sarge packages, but as I said we will 
have the whole thing packaged for Ubuntu very soon.
