No need to apologize, and thanks for the fast response! If it would be
possible to have the same kind of thing available as an "always-on" kind of
thing (like and EchoVNC Server Light, that just forwarding connections), that
would be pretty awesome too. Just dreaming of a day where I can manage my
networks as similarly as possible.

Sorry, late reply: we don't currently have an EchoVNC *Server* for
Linux,
though we do have an EchoVNC *Viewer*.
I'm working on an InstantVNC Server for Linux, but unlike the Windows
version, it would simply help make connections to on an already-
running VNC
server.
And yes, generally speaking, EchoVNC does simply help make connections
between a VNC Viewer and VNC Server, using an echoServer to help with
that,
encrypting the traffic end-to-end.
