Your BT Voyager 100 is working fine with EciAdsl 0.5 ? (I mean you can surf with the driver.. ?) There's minor changes between 0.5 and 0.8 about firmware upload & synchro, maybe 0.8 doesn't work anymore with your modem. This is interessant, I need more infos about your problem. Can you join us on IRC, we'll discuss about that? And FYI, "maybe supported" is different than "Partially supported" ;) "maybe supported" = no one managed to connect today and we don't know if the modem will be supported in the future...
