Dear Midlet developers, I have recently start to develop applications for my mobile(s)
and both Eclipse ME and support utilities from Sony Ericsson / Motorola When I started a Bluetooth application test in order to try
out the JSR082 API I used my Sony Ericsson K750i as target. The application runs OK without any major exceptions. Very excited I downloaded the app to my other mobile
Motorola E398, also MIDP 2.0. An exception was raised: “could not load Bluetooth Class”. After a quick google search I found
out that K750i includes the JSR082 JAR but Motorola did not. Now to my questions: 1. What is the best approach /
method to make Motorola, and other mobiles, Bluetooth enabled? (or other missing JARs ) 2. Can I install, together with MIDLet,
the JSR082 JAR for devices that do not include JSR082 but prevent installation for
K750i and others that already have Bluetooth support? 3. Where can I find the JSR082 JAR file? I read some information about installing JARs
on the EclipseME site but I am not brave/smart enough
to do this without asking experts, Any tips and answers that would make my mobiles talk to each
other are very welcome THANKS IN ADVANCED Stephan |
