This was covered in chapter 22.6 of the book, where the use of "-
nofirststartwizard" is advised, to avoid this very problem.

It works now, the problem was that I installed OOo but I didn't run
it to register my name, etc.
When I started it in -headless mode, I didn't see this window ...

Do you have any matching error message in the
${jboss.dir}/server/default/log/server.log file ?
