I've developped an OpenOffice plugin for LiveEdit.

Features:

- Version incrementation.
- Document creation.
- Document edition.
- When you click in Save button you can update the current document or
save it in another location.
- If you save the document in another location and it exists another
document with the same name, it asks you if you want overwrite the
document or change the name.

The installer can be found in:

http://svn2.yerbabuena.es/pub/products/j2ee/liveEdit-openoffice-installer/

In the README.TXT file you can see how to install it.

In Windows, 7-zip is required. The installer of 7-zip is integrated in
the jar, but you have to create before a folder for 7-zip.

Bugs:

- The initial default preferences are not loaded correctly in Windows.
So, you have to add it configuring the Firefox addon.
- If the registered mapping field of the Firefox addon is empty, it fails.

TO DO:

- Register the plug-in in IExplorer.

The plugin has been tested in:

- Ubuntu 7.10 + Firefox 2.0 + OpenOffice 2.3
- Windows XP + Firefox 3.0 + OpenOffice 2.4

Please, report me all the mistakes you find.

Best Regards.
