Hello,
I tested on 5.2-snapshot (I recompiled the plugins, maybe it wasn't
necessary) and on 5.1.5 here is the summary of my tests :
Client Configuration : Windows XP , firefox 2.014 , Firefox protocl
handler 0.3.3 (http://download.nuxeo.org/desktop-integration/live-
edit/nuxeo-liveedit-ff-protocolhandler-0.3.3.xpi)
- I had same behaviour on 5. 2 snapshot and 5.1.5 :-)
- Opening, saving and increment versions work well
- creating a new document worked, but from time to time, when I
save, it saves only the temp file
- especially on .doc files (even if I didn't create them frome live
edit) when I save, from time to time, it doesn't save on serverside
(no popup). I thought It could be because of the message 'take care
to formating etc ...' that is display by open office to tell the user
he might loose some formating.
- the feature that enables to choose the workspace where to create or
save again didn't work : I could not choose the folder and the
default choice seemed random
- each time I create or open a file, it opens a DOS console, and this
one is never closed automatically. (in the end, many consoles)
- I also have one question : why in the live edit for open office
folder there is liveedit protocol handler firefox extension ? is the
one on Nuxeo download page not suitable ?
Hope it will help,
Thanks again for your contribution
Alain

Hi,
Thank you the information, I will test the plugin. Considering the
serverside plugins to use, shall I comment/uncomment in the pom
of the different projects to choose the version of the server ?
or does it only work with a specific version ?
Ideally, I will test on Nuxeo 5.1.6-snapshot.
Thanks
Alain
I test the plugin with Nuxeo 5.1.5 and I think that these plugins
are not dependent on the version. However, if you want to recompile
the jar files and use your version in the pom files, it should work
fine, but if it doesn't work I'll thank you your report.
Regards.
