} side agreed that the feminist movement has gone astray, and is now
} counter-productive. Did anyone else see those? Is feminism being
} overhauled? How can we work together?
feminism is (now) a wide ranging movemebt. it covers a lot of areas,
roams over a lot of ground. there has to be some element that will
think other elements are running over them. Who knows who it really
right? Everyone will have their own view. Feminism, by it's nature,
is always looking for ways to achive the eventual goal of true
equality for people because of this (and the fact that no true way
has been found yet) it is constantly being overhauled. this follows
with most big movements that seek to make a change, as does the
point about bits being counter-productive. this is far from a critism
of feminism, the fact that it can now say it is large enough and
enough people belive in it that it is able to be counter-productive
in parts. Most small movements will tend to have similar thoughts
otherwise they will not be cohesive enough to stay together and be
actually called a movement.
Maybe one day everyone will be a feminist.
