Thanks, Mary. Glad to hear that *someone* else feels the way I do!
I mostly feel like the "lone ranger." Frankly, it really all boils
down to "diversity." I am trying to use this "currently" popular
subject to include *ALL* of those who are "other" than we might be!
If those people who HAVE children felt "sorry" for me (not having
such), I could understand it - but they seem to be ANGRY! (Why?)
Why would they "needle" you so? Maybe they DON'T feel sorry for you;
maybe they ENVY (?) you! Beats the heck outta me. I may feel "sorry"
for THEM! I COULD say to THEM, "Why the heck did you HAVE all those
kids, anyway?!" But - it's THEIR life - they chose it (mostly), and
it's THEIR business!
Now - speaking of overcrowding and population slow-down: that only
works with SOME people. Others seem to feel "threatened" and "arm"
themselves (seemingly) with more kids then they'd normally have! And,
yes - it's true that when you see SOME families, they would definitely
be better off a l o n e. I feel like the high crime we are seeing
now (particularly with the younger set) is a direct result of 1)over-
crowding, and 2)lack of *responsible* parent(s)!!!
As for the government- I think we've got a real bunch to deal with
now. I am getting dizzy trying to keep track of the environmental
*THUGS* and the alleged "pro-" lifers contribution to "human interest"
laws. This is very frightening. If I had NOTHING else to do, I
could not protest all I want/need to effectively. Talk about
choosing your battles.........
