I agree with Sara AND Mary! It is very frightening to me that our society is rushing into an "exclusive" use of computers over any other kind of format LONG before they are owned by the majority of American households. When they become as common (and an inexpensive) as TV's - THEN maybe I would agree to this. I truly believe that this "animal" (the computer) is helping to widen the bridge between the haves & have-nots. If universities went to this exclusive mode, then the U.S. govt. should make computers available to *ALL* - not unlike welfare or one of the neat IRS deductions/credits! Jackie
