I would like to thank Stefanie and the people who organised this
list. I recently met up with Niamh Moore of this list, who teaches and researches
ecofeminism at the University of Sussex, England. We spent a day in
Hyde Park, London, talking about ecofeminism and swapping materials,
so technology can be used well !!!
Thanks also for the Braidotti interview which was interesting.
Someone asked if they were being 'too chatty' for this list, not
in my opinion - maybe it's been too rigid in the past though admittedly
it can be difficult to open out to strangers, even if they are distanced. People
have been expressing their feelings of hopelessness, which I can certainly
relate to, I think if you weren't having these feelings it would perhaps be more
disturbing, since you would be in denial of the way things PRESENTLY are,.
What can I add? I am simultaneously happy/sad, heavy/light and optimistic/
pessimistic, though I endeavour to make sure that the optimism is stronger.
We are people on the edge of time (this is hopefully not supposed to
sound pretentious or grandious !!)
All for now,
Richard
