Guess we have to have this discussion every 6 months?! Here we go again...

Meat-eating and its consequently devastating, degrading, and genocidal
effects on the environment and animals are atrocious and frankly speaking,
anti-ecofeminist. Appealing to meat-eaters by way of health, is to reduce
oneself to the level of a meat-eater who is (unwittingly?) selfish,
essentialist, (social) darwinist, anthropocentric, etc., etc.
Consequently, by trying to appeal to the meat-eater by way of some selfish
reason, like health, one (again unwittingly) reinforces and concedes to said
selfishness. Meat-eaters with their inherent, unquestioned,
characteristics and behaviors mentioned above, go fundamentally
and principally against ecofeminist principles! The unwillingness to
sacrifice *privilege* and *comfortableness* clearly demonstrates a false
and token concern for ecofeminism and its principles.

Essentialism unlimited! Since when do *ecofeminists* believe in "survival
of the fittest," a.k.a. social darwinism?!?

Seems like you forgot to take your own advice.

All those needs can be satisfied in a cruelty free, ethical manner.
I think it's more important

As long as that's not at the cost of another being's life, that's fine
with me. However, it's time to stop thinking exclusively about oneself and
time to take other beings, the environnment, etc. into *serious*
consideration (don't forget this me-me-me-attitude has brought about
things like the subordination of women, slavery, colonialism, imperialism,
genocide, etc.).

Vegan ice cream of course, right? ;)
