Stephen, your story about the sadistic hunting trip just put me off
totally. IMHO, NO ONE (whatever gender) should be "hunting" without
good cause (lost in the wilderness, etc., without food or other
means for life). The very idea of this nauseates (sp?) me so much
I don't even want to discuss it further.

I agree with you, Betty. Many American Indians believe that to take
a *person's* photograph it to somehow "steal their soul" - or
something similar to that.
But - really, folks. This guy does sound like a total nut. What does
he have against photography? Very few of us can afford a decent
telescope to view the planets - and, of course, NOTHING can even
compete with the space probes' photos! Indeed, what WOULD we do
without them!
