Well, that is very good. Perhaps if the rest of us could say the same
thing we wouldn't feel so justified in condemnign the 'group' called
christians which has oppressed us. And continues to oppress us. Right now
the Catholic Church in Australia is making a High Court Challenge to teh
option of women to have an abortion where there is medical risk if she
continue with teh pregnancey. Note that they are not challenging free and
legal abortion as this doesn't exist but are challenging the little
abortion that we have available. Sorry, but in my books teh 'group that
call themselves Christians' are anti feminist. Therefore not my friend.

Well, what the Christians have to say on this in Australia is - you'll all
go to hell. Very nice. very judgemental. I don't believe that Jesus
would want to call himself a christian if he came to earth again.
And need i mention that not only have certain Brothers in teh Catholic
church been found guilty of pedophilia but that the church has supported
them and not the men, who as boys were used as teh sexual playthings of
these men of God.
There is more if you need it.
Still, I have a very hard time

Sad, but true enough such that in many states of the US evolution is not
taught. Just look at the space afforded evolution in the texts by Prentice
Hall (reputable publisher of ed texts) for use in American schools. Sad
but true. We use a lot of american texts but not for human bio because we
knwo that they are riddled with religious superstition and have nothing to
do with reallity.
I know i said before that i was sorry if my post offended christians, but
they offend me by disregarding the damage that organisations with this name
have done/ Just because some individuals might be ok, does not excuse the
fact that christian organisations are still involved in oppression and
bigroy and a systematic destruction of the US education system.
