There will be a session on GENDER, CLASS, ENVIRONMENT, AND "DEVELOPMENT"
at the Eastern Economic Association Meetings next week. Papers include
"The Impact of Technology on Women in the Process of Development" by
Esther Wangari of Towson State University, "Sustainable Development,
Poverty, and Health" by Eileen M. Stillwaggon of Gettysburg College, and
"Ecofeminism and Development" by Eiman Zein-Elabdin of Franklin & Marshall
College. The session will be on April 4 at 9am in the Potomac II room of
the Crystal City Hyatt.
