The following tenure-track position is available beginning
August 1998 (see "Science", 17 October, page 518):

POPULATION GENETICS/POPULATION BIOLOGY

We seek a colleague with research in experimental
or theoretical population/quantitative genetics or
conservation genetics.  Extramurally funded research
programs; teaching courses at the graduate and 
undergraduate levels; and supervision of undergraduate,
M.S., and Ph.D. student research expected.

Participation in our graduate M.S.-level Conservation
Biology Sequence expected.  Teaching responsibilities
will include population genetics and at least one of the
following courses:  conservation biology, evolutionary
ecology, or biostatistics.

Send curriculum vitae; statement of research/teaching
interests; up to three publications; and names, addresses,

Juliano.
