Hi all --
Just a note to say that WETA is airing two programs tonight
regarding "Animals in Captivity" -- Frontline (9:00 pm EST)
and Straight Talk with Derik McGinty (10:00 pm EST). I attended
the taping lastnight and there was a lot of good info! The
whaling industry is covered indepth, as well.
The subject of protecting the ecosystem came up as an alternative
to zoos and aquariums, for helping endangered animals. Unfortunately,
this part of the discussion was not nearly long enough!
Take a look-see tonight.
