Thanks for pigeonholing me as a fringe male and discounting the nature of

And so why should men be excluded from a dialog on ecofeminism because of
this? I want these facts that you cite and which I hardly deny to change.
And I am stepping forward to do my part in participating in changing that
by being a member of this list and working to support ecofeminist theory
in American Acadamia. I have worked very hard also and have a translation
of Francoise d'Eaubonne's original work on ecofeminism in the works. I
resent your desire to exclude me and your labeling of me as fringe and not
a representative of my sex. I feel your labels are rooted in homophobia
ingrained in all of us by patriarchy.
I *am* a man, and I speak for mySelf... which is in large part a big wavy
"feminine" love-fest. If I'm on the fringe, so be it. But please don't
discount my experience and my willingness to transform the ecological
crisis with which we are now faced and for which we are ALL responsible in
some way or another.
