What I am saying is NOT a woman only list, but rather that the
DISCUSSION of male privilidge is an important topic that is entirely
appropriate for this list...
There appears to be a knee-jerk defensiveness that comes into the
picture when this subject gets hauled out..." if you don't like
this, go start your own..." This is not helpful.

By the way: It's Fort Benning in Augusta Georgia. Contact SOA Watch in
Washington DC if you are serious about condemning this school. The
arrest of about 500 people at last years protest at the gates of Ft.
Benning that went unreported is one of the biggest farces of the media
that I've seen! 500 people are arrested by MPs and NOONE reports on
it?????

a reminder and an apology, the latter first.
it seems i've messed up on the technology front and that when you try to
submit your site to be part of the ecofeminism web-ring it, erm, doesn't
quite work. so I will endeavour to sort that out today. on the plus
side, FAR (Feminists for animal rights) are to join the web-ring, which
is great.
and the reminder part: if anybody is keen to join the ring but has no
web-site, it is incredibly easy to set up your own web-site for free.
i'll list below a couple of places which offer free web-sites. this
would be your opportunity to have your say/give your perspective on
ecofeminism e.g. reviews of ecofeminist books, poetry, guides to
ecofeminist activism, or your own theoretical meandeerings on the
subject, whatever, just be original and creative. I'm also in need of
people to help me run the ring, very little work required. If you are
not familiar with just what a web-ring is, try http://www.webring.com
