I think I am catching a pattern here _ most pagans were once Christians who
were taught to only to fear and obey God - what about teachings about Jesus,
about trust, discipline, love and honor, salvation - anything? Why were all
of you not taught that being Christian can bring joy and light into your
worlds not more darkness? Or was that something that was just reserved for
white straight men who obeyed? >>

Pretty much! oh & who owned land/property. In catholicism women are
condemned from the get go. How ever there are many pagans out there who are
pagan cause they were raised that way (called family tradition) My faith is
based on the conversations the Lady (goddess) & I have & on the effectiveness
of my spellwork & on the accuracy of the feelings gifted me from the world
around me. It works & it fits me so despite the discrimination & threats I've
faced the chances of me converting back are miniscule. As to the source of
your belief having never actually read the bible yourself, please do us a
favor & do so, preferable with a good book along side for interpretation of
the text. Let me know & I can suggest a few. Also you might pick up The
History of God by Karen Armstrong. Yes Jesus is different from Yehweh but the
energy that is put out there by everyone who believes they are the same is
just that the same. If Jesus saw what his ideas were warped into he'd likely
be horrified at the monster that was created. The fact remains that most
people who claim to be christian don't practice it in the manner Jesus meant
but instead in the patriarchial sense he railed against.

Blessed Be;

Hi,

I was just being sarcastic at Jake's whining and whinging comments. I didn't
think anyone would take this seriously. Also, by leaving the planet, I did
not mean suicide - I meant by space shuttle or with the aliens or whatever.
