Technically if your willing to pay enough the answer is yes to theraputic
abortions, that is ones were it is simply the will of the mother not her
health or life. However it is extremely rare as it is unethical. But for the
life or health of the mother it is more common & often where her health or
life is being threatened & when they do "abort" the health of the fetus is
either extremely impaired or the fetus is already dead hence it's a none
issue. Also it isn't called abortion after the first trimester anyway, it's
induced labor or something like that. & from someone whose health has been
majorly impaired from a pregnancy they'll make any abortion at any term
illegal over my dead body & I'll come back to haunt them afterwards with one
hell of a curse. Guess what you can get Cancer from pregnacy. Incedentally
NOW is currently doing a campaign to save the right of choice in this country,
their URL is National Organization for Women (
NOW ) Home Pa or http://www.now.org/ if you don't get the first as
HTML. The poster is great, it list all the bombings & assasignations etc
that those anti-lifers have done over this issue. Many of these fetuses that
are "aborted" late term if they did manage to live if they had come to term &
survived would be extremely disabled & given that it's still ok to
discriminate against the disabled (& I know for a fact that it is since I've
experiencd it personally) I don't blame those parents one bit for terminating
that pregnancy. The second you have to use a wheel chair or those cuff
crutches people look at you all the same; as either retarded or extremely ill
or both. I had to use one & would still like to because of arthritis induced
by the pregnancy & heel spurs caused by the arthritis. If it wasn't for the
stares I get & the fact that shopping in a wheelchair is a pain in the butt &
the millions of other ways society tells us they wish we didn't exist I would.
Incidentally the ADA law is a joke. My mother whom I'm living with & aften
go shopping with is extremely uncomfortable when I use a chair although she
won't admit it, it's obvious when she asks whether I must use it or not. As I
was saying abortion will be made illegal over my dead rotting stinking corpse.
