Nope doesnt seem consistent to me--logically if you conclude that all life
is sentient, you must decide which of the sentient life on the planet is
viable to be eaten. Clearly you chose one life over another--if your
willing to make that choice-so am I, I just dont happen to believe that
when I eat a vegetable I have taken a life.
