The purpose is to eat, not to torture animals. Insofar as that happens, it is
inadvertant and not by malicious intent. HOW DARE YOU accuse nonveggies of being sick
sadists, taking cruel pleasure in animal terror and pain! When flesh is commercially
cultured in vats, will you decry the suffering of the "tissue-beings?" Is it the
taking of life, or the eating of flesh that repels you? I will not regret the advent
of hydroponic culture meaning that none of these animals will again be slaughtered,
or, for that matter, ever bred or born. When this natual practice for omnivores,
which you find so heinous, ends, they won't even get the life they have now (and that
will be a good thing). The Dr. Frankenstein human race will finally be able to end
the lives and lineages of the monstrous food species it has for millennia selectively
bred, and we will be free to go on to the next order of business; extinguishing the
slave-pet classes!
