I think that you are missing a point here, Bertina. Unlike Patriarchal religions, we are not going to force you to do or be anything you don't want. However that shouldn't mean that you can't at least consider what many of us who are spiritual have to say, nor does it mean that anyone has the right to tell us we shouldn't use certain language. Whether you want to call Earth Mother or cumquat makes no difference to me. I will continue, for the rest of my live(s) to be dedicated to the Goddess/Gaia/Mother Earth. No one can dissuade me from this, because it is to Her that I have dedicated myself, with exceedingly incredible, and actually unbelievable results. And I will not change my language on this just because it makes people uncomfortable. GREAT! It will for awhile, that is the whole point! The point is to open consciousness, awareness, and to change the paradigm. To break down the walls of assumption to clear out the garbage that is destroying life on the beautiful planet. This is a very sacred thing for me, it is part of my life, and for me it would be dishonoring and disrespecting my Mother if I were to do anything less. And I don't "dis'" the Goddess, I am sworn to Her. Joy Williams [EMAIL PROTECTED] Scion in the Church of All Worlds "The Garrulous Grok Flok" Thou Art Goddess!
