Call for Papers:  Varieties of Feminist Liberalism

Papers sought for a new volume to be published as part of Rowman and
Littlefield's new Feminist Constructions series, (series editors are Sally
Ruddick and Hilde Nelson).  Tentatively entitled Varieties of Feminist
Liberalism, the volume will bring together classic and new essays that
explore feminist liberalism/liberal feminism.  Of particular interest are
essays that attempt feminist revisions of liberalism or some part of liberal
theory, reconciliations of feminism and liberalism, or feminist defenses of
liberal theory.  Welcome are both essays that describe and defend political
conceptions, and those that apply feminist liberal thinking to issues of
contemporary political concern.

Authors interested in contributing should contact the editor now with
inquiries and proposals.  Deadline for completed papers is 12/1/2000.
