-----Original Message----- Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2008 9:18 AM Can anyone recommend a ecology/wildlife magazine that targets youngreaders who are really interested in things such as animal tracks, good types of bird feeders, learning about bird migrations etc etc etc. Back in Canada when I was growing up we had WHO magazine but I am now lookingfor the best subscription out there that's fun to read and thatsatisfies a young mind curious about the natural world. Thanks Monika
I've seen several votes for NG Kids here, but I've got to say I'm
disappointed. My wife's family sent a gift subscription and I'll not
renew it. The kids (ages 5 and 7) like it, but it's a lot of bubble
gum and fluff. There's not much in the way of real ecology/sociology/
geography/photography/anything that NG does so well (I am a NG member).
I haven't seen Ranger Rick or Zoobooks for a while, so they may have
degenerated as to not leave any children behind, but ten years ago
they were good.
