I am also developing a research course for seniors in our high school's Global
Environmental Science Academy. Our theme is urban environmental issues (and
permacultural solutions). Our course is project-based and students work in
small teams in the community with experiments collecting on-the-ground data,
analyze it and make recommendations to the community based on their scientific
findings. I also would appreciate any suggestions as to appropriate course
materials - especially books, but also movies, etc. - that might be useful in
such a course.
Thanks,

Subject: [ECOLOG-L] Books on water issues

<>I am developing a senior-level global issues course for our
environmental science majors, and will most likely build the course
around the theme of national and international water use and scarcity. I
would appreciate any suggestions as to appropriate course materials -
especially books, but also movies, etc. - that might be useful in such a
course.
Thanks,

Chris Norment
