Until we derive our energy from some source other than the sun, stop
competing with organisms for food, water, minerals, and other a/biotic
components necessary for life to continue, we are part of nature. Grocery
stores, while convenient, don't remove us from nature. We can cheat it for
awhile, but eventually the laws of thermodynamics come calling, we die, and
our bodies rot. Or get injected with plastic, put on display, and then
people charge the living to look at the dead.

Then again, maybe we aren't part of nature, but a curious emergent property
of it.
