Hi Everyone, I have recently moved to Rhode Island and I am searching for a job
preferably in the fields of marine biology, ecology, and conservation
biology.  Although I would be interested in any type of biology work.
Currently, I am a graduate from The University of New Hampshire in Durham, with
a B.S. in Marine Biology and a minor in Geology.  I have gained ample research
experience first as an undergraduate researcher and as a post baccalaureate
working as a technician in the laboratory of Dr. Raymond Grizzle at Jackson
Estuarine Laboratory. In Dr. Grizzle’s lab I performed independent research and
ran experiments on oyster aquaculture and the study of invasive species.  This
included hours performing taxonomic identification of various intercoastal
invertebrates, data collection, statistical analysis (i.e. excel and prism) and
the generation of research reports for publication.  Thus, I have acquired
skills sets within laboratory and
classroom, I have taken multiple classes from general biology to biochemistry
and invertebrate evolutionary biology that included laboratories with hands-on
experience collecting data from the field and doing laboratory analysis.  I am
also a very hard worker and fast learner with an attention to detail.  In my
past work experiences I have easily learned to use new equipment and techniques
that were needed for the experimental protocol. I pasted a copy of my resume
with a list of references.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or forward my
information to anyone you may think would be interested in hiring a
technician.  I can be contacted by email
at [email protected]. Thank you for your time, Anna Gerber-Williams
