The early-bird registration deadline for the 4th annual meeting of the 
Evolutionary Demography Society 
is only one week away (Aug 1st). This conference will bring researchers from 
animal and plant field/lab 
ecology, human demographers, evolutionary biologists, geneticists and social 
scientists to discuss the
