Or we could take notes from the records of those pioneering missionaries who
have worked with indigenous peoples of South American jungles who have been
doing - ahem - "forest gardening"  for as long as anyone in the tribe
remembers ..... ;-) ..... and do not slash-and-burn whole mountainsides like
the  "newcomers"  promote doing .....
