I love chickens - now I know why that makes me smart! 
Regarding diet/health, I wonder how that man did who
ate 2 dozen a day for a very long time - years?  He
was evidence that eating eggs doesn't increase our
cholesterol level - among other research.  He may have
remained very healthy in other respects too, and, if
so, diversity may be a tad over-rated.
