Along with size of both new and renovated houses, I've been
amazed at the number of bathrooms being put into houses. We've
seen listings where the bathrooms equal or outnumber the
bedrooms. It's also getting hard to find a house without a hot tub or
whirlpool bath. I noticed whirlpool baths being high energy users on
the list that was posted here a few days ago.

There are still many small houses built in the 50's and 60's available
in the Ottawa area, but a lot of these are being bought up and then
torn down and replaced with monster houses.
