Doug, I agree.  If anybody else is interested in following this, please

Here's my last comments to be posted to this list:

Some of the environmental groups seem to do a good job of raising
money.  What at least one of them should do is found/fund a company
to produce products in a sustainable way.  Perhaps they could trade
mark a symbol to appear on products harvested/manufactured in a
sustainable way.  If they are so sure that societies needs can be met
in a sustainable way, let them do so.  The timber companies are 
obviously making money, and NPO should be able to compete using
sustainable techniques.

Ok, I'll reply to replies to this post on the list (unless told to do 
otherwise) but it is probably time to take this topic off of the list 
and get back to farms and barley and such.
