thanks, i put this into a few search engines to see
what they have on "mound culture" and found about
7 hits.  The "google" search engine directed me to
ecopath and referenced a post by kathryn.  I think
we are in a perpetual loop now. <grin>.

None of the repeat (everbearing) strawberries have
been productive here.  I'm now trying a few in the
greenhouse but it doesn't look good.  Some of the
June bearing strawberries also have trouble, but
the locally breed berries go bonkers.  We are still
picking berries you eat like an apple.

Yes, strawberries are difficult to drown in.  My complaints
are somewhat tongue-in-cheek.  After a winter of anticipating
the first strawberry it is now fun to complain about the bounty.
There is a long list of berries i plan to complain about <grin>.
