Our local bird population increases according to the volume of
strawberries available. They have two dozen bushes of recurrants
stripped before ripening at the moment. There are blackbirds nesting
in the blackcurrants and doves in the bushes overhanging the
strawberries. Nature is red in beak and claw and its all my berries
kathryn.
