According to Dr Marvin Pritts (Professor of Fruit & vegetables at
Cornell University) the easyiest berries to grow ecologically
are:
1. Blueberries
and possibly these two
2. Currants
3. Gooseberries
but probably not these
4. rasberries
5. strawberries
This advice must be for those living in New York because we
grow the following with minimal work:
1. Goumi
2. Blackberries
3. Blueberries
4. Mulberries
5. Issai (false kiwi?)
6. strawberries
and accept a few problems with: 7. rasberries
8. gooseberries
