    bread, milk, potatoes, and pasta.

 4. Look for promotions and support their
    marketing effort.

 5. Look for local products and markets.

Jeff's addendum...
Reading labels and selecting products with
fewer additives is another way to move towards
cleaner food.  Polluted food or marginal
food is often highly processed and filled with
additives.
