The AS/400 uses bisynch protocol. We have many customers that use ENTRACK EDI
software and communicates very well with Wal-Mart.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my computer, and am possibly needing
to replace it. My IS department is dragging their feet because we initially
had trouble getting the bisynch modem working (Cleo Optima - 3780 Plus).
What type of machines are others using with their bisynch modems? Any info
would be greatly appreciated. I was without my computer for two days last
week, and all our EDI software & modem are on my machine! I'm finally
getting management to agree that possibly my computer is mission critical,
but now IS is dragging their feet.
