Another useful feature of UltraEdit I have not seen mentioned. The
Windows based version includes an FTP capability that lets you open and
save files on other platforms that we find useful as our EDI platform is
AIX. Also, there is an X-Windows based version of UltraEdit as well.

Besides Ultraedit there are some other products available on shareware.
Check them out. They are almost equally good.
